Scientific and public health knowledge production and its effects

Elizabeth Roberts’s global work focuses on the social, economic, biological, and technical processes that shape everyday life, health, and inequality in working class neighborhoods in Mexico City. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of strengthening systems for health, empowering women and communities, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Roberts’s research focuses on the development of bio-ethnography, a method that combines social and life sciences approaches to improve knowledge on health and inequality.
