Can I split my gift between multiple funds?

Yes. The giving basket allows you to allocate different amounts to different funds in a single transaction.

Can I make a monthly gift instead of a one-time gift?

Yes, and through July 2027, new monthly gifts are matched for 12 months, up to $100 per month, increasing your impact during that period.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Gifts to CGHE through the University of Michigan are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You'll receive a receipt from the University for your records.

Does my employer's matching gift program apply?

Many employers match charitable gifts to universities. Check with your employer to see if your gift to CGHE qualifies, and let us know if you need documentation to submit a match request.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Gifts are processed through the University of Michigan's secure giving platform.

Who do I contact with questions about my gift?
