Financing and insurance models for behavioral health, depression and collaborative primary care, integration of behavioral health with medical and social services

Kyle Grazier’s global work focuses on health care finance, insurance and payment systems with special emphasis on models of integrated primary care, social services, and behavioral health for vulnerable populations. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center’s themes of empowering women and communities, strengthening systems for health, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Grazier’s work looks at the ways in which depression and behavioral health disorders have a disproportionate impact on populations facing inequitable economic resources nationally and globally and the potential for systematic, culturally aware access to equitable, community-based, integrated care. In 2017-18, she was a Fulbright Scholar conducting research on behavioral health integration in Eastern Europe.
