Asari Offiong’s global health focus centers on improving the sexual and reproductive health and well-being of adolescents and young adults. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center’s themes of empowering women, strengthening systems for health, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Offiong’s work applies a reproductive justice lens to understanding and improving adolescents’ and young adults’ access to education, resources, and systems that support their sexual and reproductive health, in partnership with young people and community partners.
