The Center for Global Health Equity

What does it take to understand how populations age across borders — and why does it matter for health equity?

Join us for a workshop featuring Jinkook Lee, MD, Director of the Program on Global Aging, Health, and Policy at the University of Southern California and architect of the Gateway to Global Aging Data, a platform that provides researchers and policymakers with harmonized, longitudinal data on aging populations from more than 30 countries worldwide.

Lee will discuss how the Gateway is transforming cross-national aging research, enabling comparative analyses of health outcomes, cognitive decline, disability, and social determinants of aging across diverse global contexts. She will also share insights from major international studies she has led, including the Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging and the Longitudinal Aging Study in India.

This workshop is an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, and policy professionals to engage directly with one of the leading voices in global aging science and to explore how robust data infrastructure can drive more equitable, evidence-based approaches to aging and health.
